This is an intermediate-level course designed for interpreters with some experience in the legal field looking to sharpen their skills. Ideal for interpreters that have completed an Orientation and/or Written Exam in the court system and are seeking to move on to the next level.
In this course, participants will learn expert techniques and self-assessment methods used by professional interpreters to analyze and improve the accuracy and flow of their renditions. Interpreters will strengthen their skills in sight, consecutive and simultaneous interpretation through performance-enhancing techniques and realistic exercises.
No special equipment required!
The course is conducted via a user-friendly online platform which allows for live instruction and meaningful interaction between the instructor and a small group of students. Participants have access to the recorded version of each class upon completion.
